SOURDOUGH BREAD 
10-12 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 env. dry yeast
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, melted with milk
1 qt. milk
2 beaten eggs
1 2/3 c. sourdough

Mix sugar, salt, butter and milk. Add yeast, eggs and sourdough; mix well. Add 2 cups of flour at a time, until dough cleans side. Knead for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise until double. Shape and put in 4 large loaf pans. Let rise until double again. Bake in 400 degree oven for 40 minutes or until browned and bread makes a hollow sound when thumped on top.
