WHITE FRUIT CAKE 
Grease tube cake pans with Crisco and line with foil. Cut up fruit and nuts and dredge with 1/2 cup of flour. Three sticks of butter creamed with two cups sugar, 6 eggs--add one at a time and mix well after each addition. Add 1 1/2 ounce lemon extract and 2 teaspoons vanilla, 4 cups plain flour sifted 3 times with one teaspoon salt. Add to batter and blend well. 3 cups pecans, use 4 cups if desired, 1 pound candied cherries, 1 pound candied pineapple. Bake 3 1/2 hours at 225 degree oven.
