HAYSTACK COOKIES 
12 oz. chow mein noodles
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 (12 oz.) butterscotch chips
1 c. peanuts

Melt together chips in double boiler. Add noodles and peanuts. Drop onto wax paper.

My family has been making these since the 1960s. Our recipe was called Chinese Chews because of the chow mien noodles. We only use butterscotch morsels. Warning: they are truly addictive!
