GRANDMOTHER'S OLD-FASHION
CHOCOLATE FUDGE
 
2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. Karo
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
3/4 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. broken pecans

Mix sugar and cocoa. Add milk, stir well. Bring to good boil. Add Karo, stir well and let come to soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Beat well until candy looses its gloss. Add pecans and candy will start to thicken. Pour at once into buttered dish. Cut candy before it gets completely cold.
