EASY NUT CAKE 
2 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2/3 c. Wesson oil
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. orange extract

In large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients well, until creamy. bake in 9 x 13 inch greased pan 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour syrup over top when just out of oven. (I let cake cool to lukewarm and make some holes with a toothpick.) I used a pastry brush and keep brushing every few minutes until syrup (below) is used up.

SYRUP:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. orange extract

Bring to boil and boil 5 minutes. Let cool to lukewarm before using. Freezes well.
