SAVORY FRANKS 
5 slices diced bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 c. catsup
1/8 tsp. chili powder
12 frankfurters
1/4 c. chopped green pepper

Cook bacon until done but not crisp. Add onions and cook until tender, not brown. Stir in juice, catsup and chili powder.

Score franks diagonally every 1 inch. Cover, bring to a boil, add green pepper. Simmer 8-10 minutes. Serve with hot cooked rice.
