CURE FOR THE COMMON COLD CHICKEN
SOUP
 
1 whole chicken, in parts
3 whole, peeled carrots
1 med. onion, whole
A few celery leaves & parsley flakes, bound together with white string
3 c. noodles

Parsley flakes can be used.

Fill a large pot with water and boil all ingredients until tender. As soup boils, a yellow foam will form on top. Skim this off the soup with a spoon as it forms. Do not stir soup while it cooks! When ingredients begin to soften, begin to boil noodles in a separate pot. Remove the ingredients when everything is tender. Add salt to taste and a little soy sauce or a chicken bouillon cube for flavor. Add noodles to the soup and serve hot.
