3 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
9 oz. dry mincemeat

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually and cream together until fluffy. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Add mincemeat, broken into small pieces. Add flour and mix well.

Drop by teaspoonsful 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes about 60 cookies.
