TURTLE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

PECAN LAYER:

1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 c. pecan halves
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine crust ingredients; mix at medium speed 2-3 minutes until particles are fine. Press into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans over crust. Combine 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2/3 cup butter in saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes until caramel is bubbly and crust is light brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Allow to melt slightly. Swirl as they melt but don't spread. Cool completely. Cut into 3-4 dozen bars.
