CANNED PEACH TOPPING 
3 1/2 c. ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
1 c. ripe bananas, finely chopped
1/4 c. maraschino cherries
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
6 c. sugar
1 bottle fruit pectin

Combine first 4 ingredients and mix. Add sugar and fruit pectin. Bring to full rolling boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Makes 6 (1/2 pint) jars. Serve over cottage cheese, ice cream, cheese cake, custard, or combine with fresh fruit salad.
