BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion, diced
1 sm. can sliced mushrooms
1 (16 oz.) jar Cheese Whiz
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 pkgs. frozen broccoli
1 can sliced water chestnuts
Garlic salt to taste
1 bag Pepperidge Farm stuffing
1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook broccoli until thawed and drain. Place broccoli in bottom of a 9 x 11 inch baking dish. Saute onions and mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the cheese and garlic salt to the onions. Cook over low heat until the cheese melts. Add the cream of mushroom soup and the water chestnuts, mix well. Pour the onion mixture over the top of the broccoli. Top with the stuffing and dot with pats of butter Bake for 30 minutes.
