BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
1 onion, chopped
1/2 stick butter
2 to 3 bunches fresh broccoli
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 pkg. garlic cheese (Kraft jars in dairy or squeeze snack tubes)
Fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. blanched almonds
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Saute onions in butter. Cut up and stem broccoli; add to onions. Add cream of mushroom soup, cheese, mushrooms and half to 3/4 of the almonds. Pour in casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining almonds and bread crumbs on top. Bake at 300 degrees until bubbly. Serves 6 or more.
