1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
1 tsp. baking soda (rounded)
1 c. cold water
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix all together with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
