COMPANY FRENCH TOAST 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
12 slices firm white bread
5 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. milk

Melt butter in a 13x9 baking pan. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Place bread slices in double layer over sugar mixture. Beat eggs and milk together; pour over bread slices. Cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Uncover and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and invert on plate to serve.
