Bake 1 cake with a prepared cake mix (lemon cake does real well). When the cake is done, crumble it all into a punch bowl.

While it is still hot, pour 1 large can of crushed pineapple on top. Cool. Then make up 2 boxes of instant vanilla pudding (according to package directions) and spread on top.

Next, layer a can of strawberry pie filling over all, and then a large carton of Cool Whip on top of this. It can be decorated with fresh strawberries for a pretty garnish.

VARIATIONS: Peach pie filling decorated with fresh peach slices. Cherry pie filling decorated with cherries, or any of the above fillings and decorate with chopped nuts.
