Make 1 yellow or white cake according to directions. Cool well. Cut into small pieces. Put into punch bowl. Make 1 large vanilla pudding (instant) according to directions. Spread over top of cake pieces. Spread large can of pineapple chunks with juice over pudding. Layer fresh strawberries and 2 sliced bananas over pudding. Top with a layer of Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped nuts and coconut.

To make colored coconut, put 3 tablespoons strawberry Jell-O and 1/2 cup coconut in a plastic bag and shake.
