MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. sweet milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 can yellow cream style corn

Combine all ingredients. Mix and set aside. 1/2 lb. grated cheese 1 med. onion, chopped 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped

Pour half of cornbread mixture in greased 2 quart casserole dish. Layer ground beef, onion, peppers and cheese. Pour rest of cornbread mixture on top and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned good on top.
