SARAH'S BEST HOMEMADE HOT
CHOCOLATE

1 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 c. milk
a bit of vanilla, if desired

Combine cocoa, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Heat it on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the paste from sticking to the pan. After about 1 to 2 minutes, add milk and vanilla. Mix it all together until it reaches your preferred temperature.

My mother use to make this when I was still home many years ago, she would use coco or choc chips what ever she had, it was always yummy 2 the last drop..

This was very good. I made this for my little sister & we both loved it. We tried it without vanilla though, so I don't have any comments on this portion of the recipe.

It's not cold, but it was sure a treat! If you put mini marshmellows in, would only make it better, but sill, yum!

Delicious and Easy! We had to make a 2nd batch right away! I added a very small dash of salt and cayenne pepper (alton brown recommendation) and it was to die for. Plenty sweet so next time I might not add as much sugar, but it was awesome.

VERY good recipie... except I used Almond Milk, Stevia to make it sugar free and I left out the vanilla.. instead I used my vanilla stevia.. Still tastes VERY good and only has 35 calories with my substitutions! :) MMMMM!!! Cures my chocolate craving!
