LEFTOVER SHEPHERD'S PIE
Around Thanksgiving this dish uses up those leftovers in new creative ways!

1 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey or chicken)
1 medium onion
1 (10 oz.) can of tomato soup (or cream of mushroom)
1 (15 oz.) can green beans, drained
2 cups tater tots (or prepared instant mashed potatoes)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
1 can Pillsbury refrigerator biscuits

Brown the hamburger with onions and drain grease. Grease the bottom of the pan lightly layer biscuits at the bottom of the pan, layer the cooked meat mixture, then the drained can of green beans, then the can of tomato soup. Top it off with your tater tots (or prepared mashed potatoes). Sprinkle with shredded cheese on top. Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes.

Variations of this dish can be made chicken with cream of mushroom soup and corn or ground beef mixture with green beans and cream of mushroom. Try ground turkey or chicken with cheddar cheese soup and broccoli. All variations turn out great and can be made ahead of time or with leftovers.

Note: this has also been altered to be used with wild game.
