1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. flour 4 eggs 1/2 c. golden raisins (or reg.) (Cover raisins with hot water and let stand 5 minutes - drain well). Combine water, butter, sugar and salt in saucepan. Drop heaping tablespoons 2 inches apart on greased sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes OR until doubled, gold and firm. Cool on wire rack while warm. Cover with lemon frosting. Makes 20. Stir in: 1 c. powdered sugar until smooth Add: 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 minutes to 1 minute and 20 seconds. My microwave is 1 minute and 15 seconds. |
