GOLDEN RAISIN BUNS 
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1/2 c. raisins

Soak raisins in warm water for 5 minutes and set aside. Combine water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and add flour all at once. Over low heat beat with a wooden spoon until mixture leaves sides of the pan and forms a thick dough. Continue beating for 2 minutes. Cool slightly and add eggs one at a time, then stir in raisins. Drop 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

LEMON FROSTING FOR BUNS:

1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tbsp. cream
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice OR
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt the butter and stir in the remaining ingredients. Put on the buns as soon as they are removed from the oven.
