4 c. oatmeal 1 1/2 c. coconut 1 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. wheat germ 1 c. grape nuts 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. non - fat dry milk 1 c. brown sugar 2/3 c. oil 2/3 c. water 1/2 c. honey 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 c. raisins Stir together oatmeal (either quick or old fashioned), coconut, flour, wheat germ, grape nuts (or similar cereal), nuts and dry milk in LARGE bowl. Set aside. Mix together in pan over low heat the brown sugar, oil, water, honey, vanilla and 2 spices until sugar dissolves. Pour over dry ingredients and stir to coat. Divide into two 11 x 15 inch pans and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and add 3/4 cup raisins to each pan. Store in airtight container in cool place. |
