1 beef roast 1 c. cooking wine 1 c. grated carrots 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. ginger powder 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 lg. onion, cut up Cut roast in small, thin strips (cut when partially frozen). Place in marinating dish. Sprinkle on sugar and add wine. Marinate for 30 minutes. Add soy sauce, ginger, garlic, onion, carrots. Marinate overnight in refrigerator. Cook on medium heat and serve over rice. Vegetables may be added for flavor and color. Suggested vegetables include: snow peas, cabbage, or celery. |
