GRANDMA'S NORWEGIAN MEATBALLS 
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. lean ground pork
2 eggs
1/2 tbsp. salt
1 c. crushed dry bread crumbs
1/2 tbsp. sugar
3/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. milk

Saute onion in butter. Mix remaining ingredients and add onion. Roll in small balls and brown in 1/4 cup butter. Pour gravy over browned meatballs and bake, covered, 1 hour at 350 degrees.

Gravy: Remove meat. Stir in drippings: 5 tbsp. flour. Dissolve 3 beef bouillon cubes in 3 cups water. Add slowly to flour mixture. Add 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice. Pour over meatballs.
