GRANDMA'S APPLESAUCE MEATBALLS 
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. seasoned croutons (I use bread crumbs)
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2/3 c. applesauce
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Beat egg; add milk and croutons. Soak until soft. Beat crouton mixture until soft and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients (except water and soup!). Shape into small balls (golf ball size) and place in 9 x 13 pan or cup cake pan. Add water to mushroom soup. Mix together and pour over meatballs.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
