CROCK POT STEW 
2 lbs. lean cubed beef
1 (#2) can tomatoes (20 oz.)
1/2 pkg. onion soup mix
4 oz. sherry
2 tbsp. tapioca
2 tbsp. sugar (opt.)
1 tbsp. salt (or less)
Pepper to taste
Carrots, potatoes, celery, cut up
Pinch of rosemary, thyme, marjoram

Meat can be browned in oil. Mix all together and cook in crock pot for 8 to 10 hours on low or cook 6 hours in 250 degree oven. Easy and tasty (your home will have a friendly aroma when you come home and dinner will be ready). Serves 8.
