CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 serving size) pkg. Jello brand vanilla INSTANT pudding and pie filling
2 eggs
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts; optional

Mix flour and baking powder. Combine butter, both sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixer bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen. Can substitute chocolate flavor INSTANT pudding.
