1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. hot water
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. mini marshmallows

Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and set aside. In another bowl mix the melted butter and brown sugar until blended well. Beat in the egg, hot water and vanilla. Stir in the nuts. Spread this dough into a greased 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle dough with the chocolate chips and the marshmallows. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
