BITS O' BRICKLE ICE CREAM PIE
AND SHELL
 
Prepared 9 inch graham cracker pie shell
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened to spoon easily (not melted)
1/2 (6 oz.) bag (1/2 c.) Bits O' Brickle

Spoon half of softened ice cream into prepared pie shell. Sprinkle 1/2 bag Bits O' Brickle on top. Heap with remaining ice cream.

SAUCE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. light corn syrup
Remaining bag Bits O' Brickle
Dash of salt

Combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to boil over low heat. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool slightly before applying remaining Bits O' Brickle. Cool, stirring occasionally, then chill. Serve sauce over pie. Serves 8-10.
