CHOCOLATE TOFFEE CRESCENT BARS 
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
1/2 c. brown sugar, tightly packed
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet or vanilla chips
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles and place into an ungreased 13"x9" pan. Press over bottom and 1/2" up sides, sealing all perforations to form a crust. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar and bring to a full boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour mixture over dough, sprinkle with nuts and bake for 14 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chips and cool completely. Cut into 36 bars.
