POTTSFIELD RELISH 
3 lbs. green tomatoes
3 lbs. red tomatoes (ripe)
3 lbs. onions
3 lbs. cabbage
2 bunches celery, cut fine
1 green pepper
2 red sweet peppers
6 c. sugar
1 1/2 qts. vinegar
1/2 c. salt

Grind tomatoes, onions, cabbage, peppers. Add 1/2 cup salt. Let stand overnight. Drain well - add rest of ingredients; simmer for 1 hour, add 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Put into sterile jars.
