1 pt. green tomatoes 1 pt. ripe tomatoes 1 1/3 c. onions 1 pt. vinegar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. mustard seed 1/2 sm. cabbage or cauliflower 3/4 bunch celery 1 red hot pepper 1 pt. sugar 1/4 tsp. clove Grind all the vegetables and soak overnight in salt. Measure after grinding! In the morning, drain vegetables. Add vinegar, sugar and spices. Cook for 30 minutes or longer. Put into jars and seal while hot. |
