VINEGAR PIE | |
1 frozen 9 inch pie shell or pie crust 1 c. raisins, chopped 1/4 c. butter 2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 4 eggs 2 1/2 to 3 tbsp. vinegar Dash of salt Cream butter and sugar. Add spices and blend well. Beat in eggs until smooth and creamy. Add vinegar and mix until smooth. Add raisins; mix. Place in pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. Cool for 2 hours before serving. |
