PECAN TASSIES 
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 egg
Dash salt
3/4 c. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. chopped pecans

Chill first 3 ingredients 1 hour. Mix and shape into 2 dozen 1 inch balls. Place in ungreased 1 3/4 inch muffin tins and press dough against sides and bottoms. Beat 1 egg, salt, brown sugar, vanilla. Add pecans. Fill cups and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.

Cool slightly and remove carefully from tins. Makes 24.
