MOLASSES TAFFY 
1 1/3 c. (15 oz. can) Eagle Brand milk
1/2 c. molasses
1/8 tsp. salt
Butter

In heavy shallow saucepan, blend Eagle Brand, molasses and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to 235 degrees or until it will form a semi-firm ball which holds its shape in very cold water. Remove from heat at once. Pour into buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Let stand until cool enough to handle. Pull taffy between buttered fingers until shiny and light colored. Twist into 3/4 inch thick rope. Cut into 1 inch pieces.
