MINIATURE NUT PASTRIES 
13 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well; form into 24 balls. Refrigerate at least 1/2 hour. Mix all together. Take balls from refrigerator and press into small muffin or tart pans. Add filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes until lightly brown. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
