4 lean chops
1/4 c. chili sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
Small bay leaf

Brown chops in hot fat. Pour in combined remaining ingredients, scraping tidbits from skillet and place in ungreased casserole, cover tightly and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
