OVEN FRENCH BREAD (TOAST) 
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 loaf French bread, sliced 1 1/2 inches thick
9 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tbsp. sugar

Pour melted butter in large glass oven dish. Place slices of bread over butter. Beat other ingredients together and pour over bread slices. Cover and chill overnight. Before putting in oven next morning, sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons sugar and a generous amount of cinnamon. Serve with bacon and pancake syrup. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
