1ST LAYER:

10 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 stick butter, softened

Press in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.

2ND LAYER:

2 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 c. powdered sugar

Beat until thick and creamy. Spread over first layer.

3RD LAYER:

1 can (lg.) crushed pineapple, drained

4TH LAYER:

Sliced bananas (about 3)

5TH LAYER:

Top with Cool Whip. Garnish with chopped maraschino cherries and walnuts (optional).
