TUNA PATTIE MELT 
1 (6 1/2 to 7 oz. can) tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 c. Quaker oats (quick, uncooked)
1/3 c. shredded carrots
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. onion, sliced
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 to 2 tbsp. oil
1 processed American cheese slice

Combine all ingredients except oil and cheese, mix well. Shape to form 4 (3 1/2" patties). Brown in oil in 12 inch skillet over med-high heat until golden brown. Turn, continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes, placing cheese triangle on each pattie during last 2 minutes of cooking.

Makes 4 servings.
