SIMPLE WALNUT PIE 
2/3 c. crushed walnuts
4 egg whites
1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. graham cracker crumbs
Pinch of salt

Use a regular pie plate (8" or 9"). Beat egg white with cream of tartar and salt until stiff. Gradually add sugar, vanilla, graham cracker and walnuts; mix well. Pour into pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. May top with Cool Whip.
