TWINKIE CAKE FILLING 
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. solid shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

1. Bring milk and flour to boil and cook, stirring constantly until thick. Cool.

2. Cream together rest of ingredients.

3. Add to cooled flour mixture.

4. Add vanilla and beat until thick and resembles whipped cream, about 5 minutes.

5. Frost 2 layer cake as usual or fill between layers and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
