5 tbsp. flour 1 c. milk Mix well and cook until thick. 1/2 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Mix well and beat 5 minutes. Mix with flour mixture when cool. Whip good. Put between cake. | |

This is a very old fashion recipe for cooked frosting that I've used for years as a cake filling. I bought injectors about 20 years ago to inject the cream into little cakes for home made twinkies. Such a good tried and true frosting and or filling!
