MICROWAVE APPLE-PEANUT BUTTER
CRISP
 
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. peanut butter
3 tbsp. butter
5 or 6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Vanilla ice cream (optional)

In small bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and salt. Cut in peanut butter and butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.

Place apples in greased 9 x 11 1/2 inch microwave baking dish. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over apples. Microwave on high 14-16 minutes, turning dish after 7 minutes. Serve warm or cool with ice cream.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
