SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 qts. yellow squash, cooked with 1 lg. onion
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 c. grated cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. cracker crumbs or 3 slices bread
1 c. milk (may not take this much)

Mix all the ingredients together except for the 1 cup of grated cheese. Place in a large casserole and sprinkle the reserved cheese on top. Bake the casserole at 350 degrees or until brown. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
