SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
4 sweet potatoes, peeled & cooked, mash (or equivalent canned yams)
2 eggs
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Beat and blend with potatoes: the eggs, Karo syrup, vanilla, brown sugar and butter. Place in casserole dish.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees in a 2-quart greased casserole.
