QUICK AND EASY TACO PIE 
1 pkg. (8) crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 lb. ground meat
1 pkg. taco mix
Jalapeno cheese

Pat rolls into pie pan to resemble pie crust. Bake at 350 degree oven until brown, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Brown ground meat; add tomato sauce and taco mix. Pour into pie pan and top with cheese. Bake until cheese melts. Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

DIETITIAN'S NOTE:

Reduced fat cheeses taste great and really cut down on total and saturated fat. Purchase lean ground beef and drain fat from the meat as it browns. For the sodium conscious, try using "no salt added" canned tomato sauce.
