STEWED TOMATO CASSEROLE 
2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes, undrained and coarsely chopped
1/3 c. sugar
2 slices white bread, toasted and crumbled
2 tbsp. butter

Place the tomatoes, butter, and sugar in a saucepan; heat until butter melts. Add bread crumbs and continue simmering until most of liquid is absorbed. Turn mixture in a greased casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
