WILD RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 c. wild rice, uncooked & unsalted 1 lb. ground beef 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can water chestnuts, sliced 1 can mushrooms & juice 1 can bamboo shoots 1/2 c. soy sauce 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. celery, chopped Cook rice according to basic recipe. Saute onion, green pepper and celery. Add ground beef and brown. Place all ingredients in a large covered casserole and bake for 45 minutes in a moderate oven at 350 degrees. Leftovers may be frozen and reheated. |
