MEAL IN A PITA 
1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
4-6 lg. carrots, peeled & sliced
1 (10 oz.) frozen broccoli
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Pita bread

In a large frying pan, brown the meat with the onion until no longer pink. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder as the meat is cooking.

Meanwhile cook carrots in small amount of boiling water. When carrots are about half done add broccoli and cook until done, drain. Drain any grease from the meat, mix in vegetables. Fill pita pockets with the mixture, layering with shredded cheese.
